Open a world of new, creative possibilities with Bambu Lab AMS. This makes it possible to print with different colours and materials. This allows you to easily print supports from fragile or soluble material, so you have to spend less time on post-processing.
Intelligent system
The AMS uses an intelligent system including a 32-bit MCU and a smart algorithm. It detects when the filament runs out and has a filament backup system. This system ensures a smooth transition to a new spool, allowing the 3D printer to continue printing undisturbed. This way you can print much easier and more efficiently and no unused filament remains on the spool.
The AMS also detects whether the filament has become tangled. At that point it will stop printing so you can solve the problem. By using Bambu Lab filaments, the AMS can identify which rolls of filament you have added. For filaments that are not from Bambu Lab, it is necessary to manually enter which filaments they are in Bambu Studio.
Always dry
The housing is airtight and absorbs moisture by means of a desiccant. A humidity sensor monitors the humidity in the AMS and gives you a signal when it is too high or when the desiccant needs to be replaced. This keeps your filament dry and always in optimal condition for good prints.
Up to 16 colours
If you want to print with more than 4 different materials or colours, you can do this by connecting multiple AMS. By using an AMS hub, you can print up to 16 colours and different filaments at the same time. Please note: you do not receive this hub as standard.
