This smart filament detection sensor helps you prevent problems with your filament. When a problem is detected, an error will appear on the screen and printing will be automatically paused. It can detect 4 problems: clogged nozzle, filament tangled, running out of filament and extruder problems. This is done by means of a very precise photoelectric sensor.
Real-time status indication
A light indicates the status of your filament. With blue flashing light, printing proceeds normally, with red light the filament is empty or broken. If there is a continuous blue light or no light, it could be one of the other problems that this sensor can detect. To find out exactly what the problem is, you can check your filament and extruder.
Easily install on your printer
The bi-directional supply system ensures that you will have no problems with installation. The sensor is 53.1mm x 30.3mm x 27.3mm and has 3 mounting holes for easy attachment to your printer.
Other functionalities
The smart filament detection sensor is equipped with a filament feed lever, making it easy to load filament. It also has firmware support for RRF, Klipper and Marlin and works with both a direct drive extruder and a bowden extruder.
