The BigTreeTech TMC2209 Stepper Driver makes skipping steps and jittering a thing of the past. The driver is super quiet and has good heat dissipation. You can choose from 2 modes: STEP/DIR mode and UART mode. In the STEP/DIR mode there are options for 16, 8, 4 or 2 microsteps. For UART mode, you can use both 4th and 5th pin as UART pin. The potentiometer can be adjusted to better suit your project. Turning this meter clockwise reduces the current supplied to the driver. Turning counterclockwise increases the driver's power supply. Be sure to properly mount the driver before using it for heat dissipation. This prevents the driver from working properly.
Please note: Place the driver in the correct orientation on the motherboard. If the driver is installed incorrectly, it may burn out.
