Contrary to what the name suggests, the Creality 3D CR-10 mini 3D printer has a nice large construction area (300mm x 220mm x 300mm). It is a complete 3D printer kit that can be assembled quickly. The three parts can be assembled into a complete 3D printer within 10 minutes.
The electronics housing has an LCD screen that makes operating the printer easy. If the voltage drops, the 3D printer solves this with a recovery function.
All cabling is quick and easy to connect with two multi-connectors located on the electronics housing. The printer can also be used standalone if you use the SD card slot. So it is not necessary to connect the 3D printer to a PC at all times.
The frame of the CR-10 mini 3D printer is made of sturdy aluminum V-slot profiles, which gives a printing accuracy of 0.1mm. The printer can handle Gcode files from the well-known open source slicers such as Cura and Slic3r. The electronics are equipped with a heavy Mosfet module so that the heated bed is heated quickly and stably.
The 3D printer is equipped with a single extuder and hot end. The extruder is a bowden type, which makes the print head lighter. This enables faster print speeds.
The printer comes with a standard tool kit (for assembly) and a test piece of filament. If you want to get started with the 3D printer immediately, it is wise to order filament separately.
