The Duet 3 Expansion 1HCL is a CAN-FD connected expansion board. This is specially designed to enable a stepper motor with a high current supply.
Multiple functions
This expansion board has multiple interfaces to transmit positions and multiple inputs and outputs for functions such as measuring motor temperature, axis end stop and controlling a brake.
Connecting to other boards
The Duet 3 Expansion 1HCL can be connected to the Duet 3 CAN-FD bus with RJ11 connectors (just like the Duet Mainboard 6HC, Duet 3 expansion boards and components). Multiple 1HCL boards can be connected to a bus system with a daisy chain, to provide local power up to 48V. This allows you to assemble larger machines without excessive use of cables.
