The Hemera XS Direct kit 12 V is 92 g lighter and 11mm shorter than the classic Hemera. The modified stepper motor allows faster movement, reducing printing problems such as ghosting. Because this extruder is so compact, it takes up less space, making it perfect for smaller 3D printers. The T slot mounting system ensures that it can be easily attached, so you can get started quickly. The XS Direct extruder is designed around the E3D system, making it easier to customize to your needs. Hemera is a true unit, which means that all parts are guaranteed to work together. The XS Direct can therefore easily work with the V6, Volcano and SuperVolcano heating elements and nozzles.
Although Hemera's motor is similar to a NEMA 17, it is not standard NEMA 17.
This means Hemera is not compatible with other NEMA 17 motors.
