The E3D Super Volcano upgrade kit is a kit intended for the print enthusiasts who want to print with a higher speed or better consistency. The hot end is longer than usual and therefore offers not only greater consistency and speed, but also allows you to print materials that have a melting temperature of up to 300ᵒC. To print materials with a melting temperature above 300 Celsius, the Thermistor can easily be exchanged for a higher one.
The set includes a copper plated heater block with thermistor cartridge and extension cable, a SuperVolcano sock, 80Watt heater cartridge 12V, Brass nozzle 2.85mm, thermal paste and a mosfet with accompanying wiring. The starter kit comes with an extra set of nozzles. These come in sizes 0.8mm, 1.0mm, 1.2mm, 1.4mm.
