Glow in the dark PLA from Spectrum is based on PLA with the addition of a phosphorescent pigment. This will cause the filament to light up after exposure to light. The added pigment particles of this filament do not affect the properties of the filament. The pigment ensures that your 3D print will emit light after exposure to a light source. The intensity of the light can be adjusted by adjusting the wall thickness and infill. This is a 1.75mm blue filament on a 0.5kg spool.
Tip: To make your 3D print emit a stronger light for a longer period of time, you should expose the print to the light for a longer period of time.
Please note: Glow in the dark filament has an abrasive effect in the nozzle, which causes it to wear out faster. It is therefore recommended to replace the nozzle more often and/or to choose a harder stainless steel nozzle or hardened nozzle with a minimum size of 0.6 mm.
