This ePA12-CF filament from eSun is based on PA12 with the additional addition of 15% carbon fibres. These enhance the severity and strength of the nylon and even make it possible to use this filament as a replacement for metal in many situations. Because it absorbs little moisture, prints made from this material are more resistant to humidity and temperature changes. This filament is ideal for printing parts such as gears, because it is self-lubricating and can withstand frequent use.
For long-term use, ePA12-CF can function well at temperatures up to 120°C. For short-term use it can withstand a temperature of up to 160°C. The filament shrinks little, is not easy to deform and does not break during printing. It is refined and has a matte appearance.
