With the Bondtech LGX Shortcut Copperhead hotend you can print all kinds of filaments at temperatures of up to 450°C. This product is suitable for use with the LGX Extruder (not included). With the LGX Shortcut Copperhead hotend (former name: LGX For Flexibles Set) you can process all kinds of 1.75 mm filament quickly and easily, but especially the softer and flexible variants. The filament path is 27mm shorter than the standard Copperhead screw-on hotend. This hotend keeps the print head small and light.
The hotend is easy to assemble in several ways. The reversible cooling basin can be attached to the left or right side of the cooling block. The product is designed so that you can attach a 40mm x 40mm fan to it.
This package contains:
- a Copperhead™ LGX™ Heatbreak
- a Copperhead™ Hot Block
- a black anodized LGX™ aluminum cooling pool
- an air-cooled black anodized LGX™ aluminum heat sink
- an air-cooled LGX™ Cold Block mounting hardware
- a Bondtech M6x1x7.5 coated brass nozzle 0.4 mm (V6)
- a sachet of silver-based thermal paste
The heater block supplied with this product is compatible with the RepRap nozzle standard.
The hotend is compatible with the following nozzles:
- Bondtech: brass and coated nozzles
- Slice Engineering: copper and vanadium nozzles
Note: the nozzle is not included.
